Shravan Kumar (1984) – A timeless tale of Lord. Directed by Chandrakant, this poignant film narrates the legendary story of Shravan Kumar, whose unparalleled dedication to his blind parents became an eternal symbol of Indian culture.

When a couple, Shantvarkumar Sharma and Gyanvati, are blessed with a son after years of prayer, they are warned by Brahma not to look upon him, or they will lose their eyesight. Their love overcomes instruction, and the prophecy comes true. Years later, Shravan Kumar, now grown and deeply love to his parents, sets out on a travel , carrying them in a palanquin himself, refusing luxuries offered by kings.

The journey tests his knowledge and brings him face-to-face with destiny, culminating in the tragic moment when King Dashrath mistakenly kills Shravan, setting into motion the events that would lead to the birth of Shri Ram.
